Skilpad Wildflower Nature Reserve
Kamieskroon
This breath taking 1000 ha reserve displays the annual wild flowers in Namaqualand from August to October each year. It is located 17km west of Kamieskroon and was established in 1988 by the WWF (South Africa).
This area is also great for hiking, mountain biking and photography.
The reserve is open 8.00 – 17.00 during the flower season.
